Just because I already have two blogs, isn’t a good enough reason to not have one more, right?!
This blog is supposed to function as my GIF archive. Whenever my hands GIF birth (😶), it will land right there.
After featuring my work twice already IGNANT asked if I’d like to answer a couple of questions in GIFs. I said: YES!
And here is the result.
Thank you IGNANT!
Thank you Caroline Kurze.
Varoom Magazine - the illustration report is by far my most favorite magazine that writes about illustration. The latest issue titled “The Hermenauts” includes interviews with this years The Association of Illustrators Award winners.
I was also given one full page to show and talk about my work under the aspect of interpretation!
I love Varoom and you should, too!
I’m on London right now and I received an award from the Association of Illustrators last night for my blog www.itsnobiggie.tumblr.com . I’m still overwhelmed by everything that happened last night. Seeing all these great work from amazingly talented illustrators from around the world.
All over winner this year was a children’s book brought to life by the utterly talented William Grill and it’s about one of my favorite things (to read about): polar expeditions.
I’m so happy that GIFs are finally taken more and more serious in the professional world. Thank you so much Association of Illustrators! This award will, no doubt, smoothen my path!
Friends, I made something new!
This time, you can order it and put it onto your wall. Another option would be to give it away as a present. People really love presents!
You can order it here:
(I recommend not to order the size “Mini”, just because you don’t want to use a magnifying glass to read the text.)
This print is more of a personal project and also slightly different from my GIF stuff, but I’d love to hear what you think about it!
And here comes the last of four spot illustration for the Brooklyn Magazine

Ups…more spot illustrations for the fall issue of the Brooklyn Magazine
✏︎ These are about food trends.
I love them so much. Super super grateful that I got to hang out with the wonderful giphy family for 2 weeks this summer!! They have the coolest hipchat gifs parties every day, no wonder why they are the best gif search engine ever.
Also, really happy to have met talented fellow gif artists porucz and thokamaer who joined us for my last day there!
Haha… you turned a simple photo into awesome!
It was so cool to finally meet you Cindy! I hope it wasn’t the last time!
One out of four illustrations I was commissioned to do for the fall issue of the Brooklyn Magazine
Inspired by current events, I dedicate my latest ‘Biggie’ to myself. My birthday is on Sept 13th which can definitely be considered as one of my favourite days of the year.
Once been called a “birthday princess” (of have I absolutely no idea why) I’ve ever since been told that this enjoyment is very likely to drop severely when I hit some age of a higher number, but no… I can’t agree. Still extremely happy and I can’t wait to wake up tomorrow morning to just have an awesome day!
Water is great. Ponds, lakes, sea. Though sometimes, whilst swimming in something bigger than my bathtub, I experienced moments of sudden fear due too likewise sudden belief, that I might just be a tiny delicious snack to some who knows what aquatic creature. And I’m not talking about sharks, but the real dangerous beasts with a zillion arms, a zillion meters long, five heads and for certain always deadly. But sure, even a kid knows that panicking isn’t really a clever thing to do when too far away safe land. So what I did then was going into floating mode. Inhaled, exhaled, inhaled … calmed myself down, waited to get eaten. Wether you believe it or not, but I never became a meal for something swimming, but I was also never pulled down by mystical hybrid creatures to be the exclusive lunged guest to magical deep sea kingdom.
